- 1
Touch it, then trace it. Before each word on the trace sheet, your child touches that part: la cabeza, hand on head, then the pencil. Say the word while they touch.
- 2
Label the figure from the top down. Read the word bank aloud, then start at la cabeza and work down to los pies. Your child points to the same part on their own body before writing.
- 3
Keep the little word in front. Read and write each word with its article: la nariz, los brazos. On the chart and the sheets they always travel together.
- 4
Count on the body for the fill-in sheet. For Tengo dos ___, hold up the two hands or wiggle the two feet and count uno, dos before writing the word.
- 5
Play one round between sheets. Call ¡Tócate la nariz! or ¡Tócate las rodillas! for a minute, then sit back down for the next sheet.
The body parts chart has the same labeled drawing, the Tócate la nariz game and every word with pronunciation. The chart goes on the bathroom mirror, the sheets on the table.
